Sometimes life can be challenging and we can be left feeling tired, unsupported, misunderstood lonely or alienated. Often it can feel like even those closest to you just don't get what it's like to be you and it can be hard to reach out for help when you're not feeling great.

The Safe Spot team totally get it. If you ever feel like you could do with support, it really can help to just reach out - talk to someone - ask for help. There is always someone who understands, totally gets it but often it's up to you to take the first step and ask for support or start the conversation with someone.

To help you when things get a little challenging, we've put together some material to support you and your family.  And yes - you can reach out to us too.

Reaching out, knowing that you are not alone is the first step towards feeling great.

Much love - Safe Spot CEO Niki Burton and the Safe Spot team.

Mental Health - Community Health

At its worst, depression and mental illness can lead to suicide. Over 800 000 people commit suicide every year. Suicide is the second leading cause of death in 15-29 year old's. (i)

But suicide is preventable. People can feel whole, loved and purpose filled - with a little support.
