What Happened in 2016?
What's In The Bag? - With Share The Dignity!
In September 2016
We Joined Forces with Share The Dignity.
In September 2016, Safe Spot Foundation teamed up with Share The Dignity, to help put a smile on the faces of women and young girls in need. Safe Spot Foundation is all about fostering Safety and Well-being for people of all walks of life, and we love joining forces with other amazing not-for-profits, to ensure our helping hands have an even greater reach.
Share The Dignity is a fellow registered not-for-profit organisation, collecting and distributing free sanitary items to women experiencing homelessness. Thanks to the team at Share The Dignity, sanitary items are fast becoming a right, and not a luxury for homeless women and young girls across our country.
So What Was The Deal?
Share The Dignity runs an amazing Christmas Appeal called "It's In The Bag." which sees them gift handbags filled with sanitary goods and other hygiene products, to homeless women and girls across Australia. We just love this campaign, and so we've decided to help out.
So in September, Safe Spot gladly gifted 65 gorgeous, new leather handbags to Share The Dignity, so they could pass them onto women during their Christmas 'It's In The Bag' appeal.
We were so proud to support such an awesome charity and great causeand of course to help countless Women - How Cool. Stay tuned to see what's next. :)
